Passenger Wanted

Passengers Wanted / AvailablePosted by Rob Baxter Fri, August 10, 2018 10:40:09
Richard Waterhouse needs a passenger.

Richard is looking for a passenger - initially for the 2 day trial at Biggar.

He could really do with someone to passenger on a more regular basis. It would be pity if the lack of a passenger jeopardised his involvement in the sport.

Contact Richard direct on 0113 255 8257 or r49waterhouse@gmail.com

If any non-member sees this and might be interested in becoming involved in the sport please use the contact form on the front page of the website.

Perseid Meteor Shower

General BanterPosted by Rob Baxter Tue, August 07, 2018 18:01:13
Not only is it the Practice Day-Team Trial Event this Sunday (12th August) it is also the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower. The weather this weekend looks like it might be ideal for trialling but it could be too cloudy for meteor spotting. So, it might be worth having a look on Friday and/or Saturday nights if you are putting the cat out/on the late shift/borrowing lead from the church roof.
If you are interested there's a map and a bit of bumf if you click on the icon below.

Do forget to enter for Practice Day - much lower chance of getting arrested than lurking about at night.
